The Traveller’s Guide
Overview
Every soul in the Underworld passes through here eventually. The City of Judgement is part courthouse, part cathedral, and entirely without an appeals process.
Getting there
All roads from the Styx lead here, whether you like it or not. The queue is eternal, but it moves surprisingly quickly once you stop arguing.
What to see
The three judges: Minos, who has the final say; Rhadamanthus, who judges souls from Asia; and Aeacus, who judges souls from Europe and keeps the keys. The scales of truth are not decorative.
Local etiquette
Bring your whole life story; they already have a copy. Do not say “it was like that when I found it”. Nobody has ever got away with it.
