Overview
Tartarus is as far below Hades as the sky is above the earth. A bronze anvil dropped from the top would fall for nine days before landing, which tells you everything about the lift situation.
Getting there
Offend the gods badly enough and transport is arranged for you, free of charge. Visitors who arrive voluntarily are rare, and the return journey is even rarer.
What to see
Sisyphus and his boulder. Tantalus and the fruit he can never reach. The Titans behind their bronze walls. All of them would love a chat, and none of them can leave to have one.
Local etiquette
Do not offer to help Sisyphus. It only makes the boulder sulk. Keep your hands to yourself near the Hundred-Handed Ones; they have more than enough of their own.
